Tom, enjoying retirement in sunny Florida, found these two gems in the archives. Circa 1982, the first picture shows Dave (fiddle) and Tom (guitar) at the Stark, NH, fiddle contest. The second is a shot of Bill “Boom Boom” Perry practicing the bass at Dave’s house in Goffstown, NH.
Had a great time today at the Haverhill Farmers’ Market. See you tomorrow at the Salem, NH, Farmers’ Market, 10-2.
Yesterday we played an interesting gig at Goats to Go at Great Rock Farm in Georgetown, MA. After a goat yoga class, we provided entertainment for the participants (and the goats). But we realized we didn’t know a lot of tunes about goats, so we are on a mission to find some or write them.
It was great to be back at the Salem, NH, Farmers’ Market over the weekend. It was a beautiful day, and many of our favorite vendors were there. We premiered a few new tunes including Tater Patch, Cold Frosty Morning, Mr. & Mrs. MacLean, and others.
Visit the Market’s website, and be sure and check out the list of vendors.
Hope to see you there again sometime.
